An unusual robbery has taken place at a jewelry store in Turkey.
A 26-year-old man broke into a jewelry shop in the city of Kayseri, smashing the store’s glass with a crowbar and stealing gold jewelry. What shocked many, however, was his method of escape: after the theft, the suspect fled the scene riding a donkey.
The bizarre getaway was captured by the store’s security cameras.
The young man was arrested several hours after the robbery. During the investigation, police officers recovered the stolen items, which the suspect had buried in a nearby plot of land.
